Vampire Facial with PRF

Regenerate your skin using platelets from your own blood.

PRF, or Platelet-Rich Fibrin, is a powerful, all-natural treatment that uses your body’s own healing abilities to restore and rejuvenate the skin. As the next generation of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), it’s especially effective for targeting the early signs of ageing, under-eye hollowness, and dark circles, and supporting healthy hair growth.
Key Benefits:
  • Naturally lifts and firms the skin for a more youthful appearance
  • Reduces under-eye hollowness and dark circles
  • Boosts collagen and elastin for long-term skin rejuvenation
  • Improves skin texture, tone, and overall radiance
  • Supports healthy hair growth and helps treat early hair thinning
  • 100% natural! No chemicals, no additives, just your own healing power
How It Works:
A small blood sample is spun in a specialised centrifuge to extract PRF, rich in platelets and growth factors. It’s then injected into targeted areas to stimulate collagen, firm the skin, and restore volume. The remaining plasma is often used during Microneedling to boost results.
Treatment Details:
  • Recommended: 2 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart, with maintenance for best results
  • Treatment time: Approximately 45 minutes
  • Downtime: Some redness, swelling, or mild bruising may occur and typically subsides within 24–72 hours

Pre-Care

Avoid sun exposure: Stay out of direct sunlight for 24 to 48 hours before your appointment. No sunbeds or active tan, your treatment may be refused if your skin is too sun-exposed.

Pause active skincare: Stop using retinoids, acids (AHAs/BHAs), scrubs, and vitamin C for 5 to 7 days beforehand to prevent irritation.

Hold off on blood thinners: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for a few days unless prescribed, as they can increase bruising.

Wait if your skin is irritated: Postpone treatment if you have active acne, open wounds, cold sores, or any skin infections in the area.

Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days before your appointment to support healing and better results.

Avoid alcohol: Skip alcohol for at least 24 hours prior as it can increase sensitivity and bruising.

No waxing or hair removal creams: Avoid these on the treatment area for 5 to 7 days before your appointment.

Come with clean skin: Arrive with a freshly cleansed face and no makeup, moisturiser, sunscreen, or skincare products.

Wait after other treatments: Wait at least 14 days after anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, or other aesthetic treatments. Let your practitioner know if you’ve had anything recently, as your appointment may need to be rescheduled.

Post-Care

Avoid touching your face: Keep your hands off the treated area to prevent irritation or infection, especially in the first few hours.

No makeup or skincare: Avoid makeup and all skincare products (except what your practitioner provides or recommends) for at least 24 hours.

Skip active ingredients: Do not use retinoids, acids (like AHAs/BHAs), vitamin C, or exfoliants for 7 days post-treatment.

Stay out of the sun: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least a week. Use a high SPF once your practitioner says it’s safe to apply sunscreen again.

Avoid heat and sweating: No hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours, as heat can worsen inflammation.

Don’t pick or peel: If your skin flakes or peels, let it come off naturally. Picking can lead to scarring or infection.

Use gentle products: Stick to a mild cleanser, the aftercare recovery balm provided, and a plain moisturiser unless otherwise advised by your practitioner.

Keep skin hydrated: Drink plenty of water to support healing from the inside out.

Avoid alcohol: It can dehydrate your skin and increase inflammation, so it’s best to skip it for at least 24 hours.

Sleep on a clean pillowcase: Change your pillowcase the night of your treatment and avoid sleeping face-down.

Frequently asked questions

Is PRF the same as PRP?

Not exactly. PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) is considered the next generation of PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). It contains more growth factors and is processed without anticoagulants, making it completely natural and allowing for slower, more sustained release of healing properties.

When will I see results?

Results develop gradually, with most people noticing a visible improvement in skin texture and tone within a few weeks. Full results typically appear after 4–6 weeks and continue to improve with additional sessions.
