My approach blends science-backed technologies, medical-grade skincare, and combination therapies to deliver results that look natural and feel empowering. Whether you’re navigating hormonal skin changes, noticing signs of ageing, or just want to take better care of your skin, I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way.

A Little About Me…

I live in Wellington, Somerset with my husband Ben (owner of TA1 Performance Coaching), my son Hugo, and our French bulldog Rolo. I’m passionate about health, so I’m not in the clinic, you’ll usually find me in the gym lifting heavy things!

I have a First-Class Honours degree in Sport, Health, Exercise and Nutrition from Leeds University. After a corporate career in health and wellness, I launched my own business in 2010.

Like many women, hitting my 40s brought significant hormonal and skin changes. Even with everything dialed in health-wise, I knew something wasn’t right. That experience led me to study an advanced certification in female hormones and metabolism, and from that, The Metabolic Female was born in 2021.

What I Offer

Alongside advanced skincare treatments in my private skin clinic, I also provide private hormone, health, and wellness testing through UK doctor-led laboratories.

One of the options I use is the DUTCH Test (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones), an advanced at-home hormone panel that offers a fuller picture than standard blood or saliva tests. It measures key adrenal and sex hormones, their metabolites, and stress markers like cortisol rhythm and melatonin levels, giving you insights into both hormone production and how your body is processing them.

I’m a full member of the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and have completed Level 5 in Aesthetic Practice, with ongoing studies at Level 7 to stay up to date and fully compliant with current clinical and safety standards. My approach is always personal, professional, and rooted in both science and care.

Being anxious around needles, Emma has always been incredibly patient with me and takes the time to really listen to what I want to achieve. When it has come to my botox, she has made it clear what would work well for me, and never tried to over charge for areas that didn’t need adjustments.

Not only is she patient, amazing at her job, but she’s also lovely as well and I would recommend her to anyone! I always leave incredibly happy with the work she has done for me.
