Cancellation Policy

Cancellation & Deposit Policy

As a small, appointment-based business, I set aside time just for you. When a booking is cancelled at short notice, it’s very difficult to fill that slot, and it directly affects my ability to run my business. These terms are in place to keep things fair for all my clients and to make sure I can continue offering the best possible service.
Deposits

To secure your appointment, I require a deposit:

  • £60 – Injectable treatments
  • £30 – All other procedures, including consultations

Your deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day.

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable.
  • If you need to move your appointment, please give me at least 72 hours’ notice so I can transfer your deposit to a new date.

With less than 72 hours’ notice, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

I completely understand that life can throw up unexpected events. All I ask is that you let me know as soon as possible so I can offer your slot to someone else.

  • Please give me at least 72 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • You can do this by calling or texting me on 07860 600 798 or emailing emma@themetabolicfemale.co.uk any time up to 72 hours before your booking.
  • If your appointment is for a Prescription Only (POM) treatment, please get in touch as early as possible so I can make the necessary arrangements.
Cancellation Fees
  • More than 72 hours’ notice – I’ll happily move your deposit to a new date free of charge.
  • Within 72 hours – £30 fee for standard treatments or £60 for injectables (deposit retained).
  • Within 24 hours or no-show – You’ll be charged 100% of the treatment cost.

Paying fees:

  • Cancellation fees must be settled before booking again.
  • I’ll send you an invoice with my business bank details.

Fees may be waived in extenuating circumstances

Missed or Ineligible Appointments

If you arrive but can’t have your treatment because of preventable reasons, I’ll need to charge the full treatment cost before rebooking. This includes:

  • Not following pre-treatment advice (e.g. sunbed use, active tan, or certain medications)
  • Not completing consent forms in advance
  • Being unable to remain still or follow safety instructions during treatment

I truly appreciate your understanding. These policies help me manage my time, keep my business running, and make sure all my clients have the chance to book in. If you’re ever unsure about anything before your appointment, please just ask.
